How To Use the Google Map

Click on the dot inside the marker to see the location and any notes. Before clicking on another blue dot, click in a clear spot somewhere on the map to “clear” your selection.

To scroll around on the map, you can use the hand to grab and drag the screen to where you’d like it, or you can use the arrows in the top left corner of the map. To zoom in or out, use the plus and minus buttons in the upper left corner. To zoom in on a specific area, double click on that area and the map will re-center and zoom. In the upper right corner are three buttons: Map (states and countries with cities marked by dots), Sat (satellite map), and Hyb (hybrid map, combining the Map view and the satellite map). The Hyb is our favorite view.
