Which version do I want?
If you already have an e-reader, or an e-reader software, you will want to download the e-book version that corresponds with your e-reader.
Kindle uses the .mobi format and the Nook uses .epub format. If you have Calibre on your computer, you can read either version. If you don’t have an e-reader or an e-reader program on your computer, see below.
How do I transfer the e-book to my e-reader? Will it download to the e-reader automatically?
No, the e-book(s) will NOT automatically download to your e-reader. To transfer the e-book(s) to your e-reader, follow the directions below.
1. Download the file(s) from your confirmation email to your computer and save to a location you can find easily.
2. Plug your e-reader into your computer using the USB transfer cable. When you plug your Kindle into your computer, a message will pop up asking you what you want Windows to do with this device. Select “Open folder to view files”.
3. Open the folder named “Documents” and you should see a long list of the e-books you already have on your Kindle e-reader. If you don’t have a Kindle, find the location on your e-reader where the e-books are stored.
4. Copy the e-book file(s) from your computer onto the main memory of your e-reader, into the folder you opened in the previous step.
5. When the e-book(s) have copied over to your e-reader, eject your e-reader from the computer.
6. You may have to wait a few minutes for your e-reader to recognize the new e-book(s).
How can I read the e-book(s) without an e-reader?
If you don’t have an e-reader, you can read on your computer, phone, or tablet using either a Kindle program, Nook app, or Calibre – all of which are free and available online.
Depending on the file type you chose, there are different softwares or apps you can use to read your e-book(s). See below for where to download an e-reader software.
Once you have downloaded the app or program you can open the e-book file and start reading.

If you bought the kindle (.mobi) version, you can download the Kindle app for a PC here. For a mac you can download here.
If you bought the epub version, you can use the Nook app, or Google Reader.
